Unfortunately we will not be able to see it in person but here is

Dom Pérignon and a lovely girls night out.

Another Day at the Beach

Mother's day weekend 2009, Cambria

Mother's day weekend we escaped the JESUSITA FIRE & headed to Cambria.
We stayed at our favorite hotel The Fogcatcher Inn. We had a nice relaxing weekend.
The weather was great and Zuki was very well behaved (he can be a pill to travel with).

Walking down the beach we were surprised to see our friends
from SB. Jason, Brooke and Jason's mom. They were escaping
the fire with their doggies as well.

We never travel without a stroller for Connor to push.


We had a lovely dinner at The Stone Station restaurant.
We sat on the covered patio where you could have your doggie with you.

The food was delicious and the presentation beautiful.

We even made some new friends.
Johnathan and Audry, a very inspiring & sweet couple and dog lovers as well.

The hills are on fire AGAIN!!!!!

How do I put this into words.
Over the last few years wildfires have become a part of life in S.B.
The town is on fire but life goes on.
What a bizarre day.

We are so happy to have our friends Amy, Sofia & Jim back in Santa Barbara.
Our children have become fast friends.
And we are looking forward to spending lots of time together.
