Another great pool day

We've been spending lots of time at the pool this summer as you can see from how many swimming pictures I've posted on the blog. Today was especially fun because we had Samantha with us and Bella joined us too.

Connor was thrilled to have his friend Sammy there to show off for.

Here is Bella with our favorite swim instructor Kelsey.

Here Connor is laughing hysterically because Samantha was saying "booty". Connor loves the "potty talk" anything about booty, poop, butt, fart etc. he just loses it.

They were all treated to otter pops.

Then the sugar kicked in and the chase was on.

I attempted several times to get a shot of Chris and Connor jumping in at the same time but these goof balls could not coordinate their launches. But boy did they have fun trying.

Shower for baby Jessica

I am feeling so blessed by all of these lovely ladies. Ronda, Sarah, Marina and Holley hosted the most elegant Parisian baby shower for me and baby Jessica. They thought of every detail.

This little girl is already loved by so many Aunties, she is one lucky girl and so am I.

Lots of laughing and giggling among friends.

The girls filled this notebook with sweet sentiments that absolutely filled my heart.

The pink champagne was a lovely touch.

Marina took all of these pictures through out my pregnancy. It's so nice to have my own personal photographer follow me around ;)

I love this Parisian banner and will save it to put in baby Jess's room someday.

I loved these amazing cupcakes and the chocolate Eiffel Towers to top them made by Marina.

I love the vases wrapped with pink and black ribbon . . . so Parisian.

The girls thought of every detail; beautiful custom menus and they tied pink ribbons with "J" for Jessica labels to the napkins.

Yummy cheese plates to start.

Everyone brought a book for baby Jess and one for Connor (so he wouldn't feel left out).

Pink champagne, Eiffel Towers and french meringues decorated the table... just lovely.

I don't know how much longer I'll be able to pull off these heels.

Fiesta Rodeo ~ Yee Haw

Our 1st Rodeo! None of us had ever been to a Rodeo before and we didn't know what to expect. It was fun seeing all of the different events: Tie-down roping, Team Roping, Steer wrestling, Saddle bronco riding, Bareback Bronco-Riding, Bull riding and Barrel racing. However, I think my favorite part was Connor's new cowboy hat. He looked so adorable we must have taken 50 pictures of him in his new hat. I could eat him right up. And it was so cute that Connor made us refer to him as 'Cowboy Kid' all night. He kept telling us he wanted to grow up and ride a horse and a bull.

This bucking bronco tossed his rider in less than 10 seconds.

Yes there is a rider on that horse. Ouch!
