A great kick off to Spring Break 2015

We started off our beautiful Saturday morning with a family run while Jess rode her bike. She just kept going and going and going until she didn't. She went really really far and we should have turned back way before we did, because we ended up taking turns carrying her and the bike all the way back. 

Oops. Live and learn. 

Really great job Jess! We are super proud of you!

BTW you have the most beautiful face I have ever seen. 

Then we headed to Santa Clause Lane beach for some fun in the sun.

Then Sunday Chris and I had a day date.

We bought 2 bikes, walked out of the store and rode off on an adventure.

 1st Chris gave me a nostalgic tour of UCSB complete with a stop at Campus Point. Then we headed over to Beachside Cafe for lunch and a walk out on the pier. We ended our date by riding all the way home (I was pretty proud of myself for making it up Puente). 

It was the perfect date. Thanks love for keeping it fun!

And then Monday funday at the Bacara with Marina and the girls.

These four were marvelous the entire day!

So grateful for happy, kind little people.

And so grateful for this girl too. 

Hollister School Auction and Casino Night

Last weekend Chris and I had a great time attending Connor's school's Auction and casino night!

So fun getting out of my yoga clothes for a change and hangin' with these ladies.

Lara, Brenda, Julie and myself . . . all looking very glam. 

It was a beautiful setting and an over all lovely evening for helping out the school. 

And a great excuse for a dress up date night with my love. 

And she's OFF!!!!

I cannot believe she is riding a 2 wheeler! This was Connor's 1st bike and when he out grew it we passed it on to Thatch who has now passed it on to Jess. She got on and with in about 5 minutes was riding like a pro! She rode up and down the street for 2 hrs, happy as can be.

Connor the RUNNER

Congrats Connor on being tied for top lap runner in 2nd grade at the Jog-a-thon! 

Great job dude!

Also Connor is far ahead of most of the school in running laps for Recess Marathon Club.  He's already completed 25 miles and we are only about 1/2 way thru the session! Above is a picture of Connor and the 1st group of runners to hit 15 miles! We are so proud of you Connor.

On a side note: I know I am months and months behind on updating our blog.  It is too overwhelming to me to go back and catch up on all the awesome things we did over the last several months. So I am just starting from today and moving on :) phew what a relief.

Opening Day Weekend:

Connor is playing for the Cubs this season in the mini-minor division.

Dad is assistant coaching and I am team Mom.

We are having the full little league experience!

October Pix

October was a fun filled month. I can't believe it's over and we're already heading into the holidays! Yipeee!!!!

Connor and I had a special paddling boarding date. 

This date was a sort of reward for all the good behavior lately! Keep it up dude!
