Easter Sunday 2008

Happy Easter Everyone. I read a special Easter book my Grandma sent me to my Easter Bunny. Then later I spent the day at the beach with my parents. It was a beautiful day. I liked eating sand, a couple of rocks & my sunblock. My mom found me a great stick to play with! Dad showed me the surfers and we saw lots of doggies. Woof Woof.

Connor discovers his "Willy Wonka"

So I'm giving the little guy a bath and he's brushing his teeth. (I say brushing but really he chews on his tooth brush.) When I notice he has one hand down on his "Willy Wonka" and is examining it. Now if you can picture it. He really full from dinner so his naked tummy is fully distended (I think that means round and swollen.. you know like Santa.) He's kind of hunched over his belly, tooth brush in one hand, mouth hanging open and "Willy Wonka" in the other hand. He looks down again, then at the tooth brush then touches the tooth brush to his "Willy" before placing it back in his mouth. It was hilarious. I was not expecting that at all.
Boys will be boys.
(I know he'll kill me when he is older for having published this on the web but I couldn't help myself.)

1st Emergency Room Visit

Well Connor tried to give us a heart attack by plunging head first off our bed; which by the way is about 3 feet high. He landed smack on his head and face neck snapping back on the wood floor. You can imagine the thoughts going through my head: his neck must be broken, he will have brain damage, his spine must be broken. I scooped him up and drove straight to the emergency room (I'm sure it won't be the last trip we take there.)
He is such a brave little guy. He cried for about 40 minutes before he started to perk up and was pointing at everyone and everything. The doctor examined him and said he looked good but that we could do a CT scan for peace of mind. We attempted to put him to sleep with a bottle: didn't work. He would not hold still for the scan so we decided to wait him out and see if he'd fall asleep.
If you've ever been to the emergency room you know how loud and exciting it can be. There was no way he was falling asleep there. We attempted to give him a baby sedative but he rejected it down Mom's back and all over the floor. Shortly after that we decided he was acting pretty normal and the dr. gave us the okay to take him home. We woke him up through out the night to check him. He was okay. He does have a few minor abrasions on his face but you can hardly see them. There's no permanent damage except to Mom's heart.

Stupid Human Trick

Here is my own personal stupid human trick.
Look out Letterman here I come.

Stroller Date

Yesterday I had a date with my girlfriend Samantha. She sleeps A LOT so I tried to wake her up. She's pretty. I like our dates because she let's me do all the talking.

The Beach

Last weekend we took our dog Zuki to the beach.
I rode in my mom's back pack, while Zuki had the run of the beach.

The weather was really nice so we took our shoes off
and played in the tide pools.
We love the beach but I think Zuki loves it the most.
