Little Buddies

We took Connor's friend Cal with us to our Wednesday morning play class.
The boys had a great time in the car on the way there.
We sang songs and both boys enjoyed saying "Hiiiiiiii" 1 million times ;-)

They held hands all the way from the car to the school house.

What's Connor doing in there?
Cal looks like he may be trying to escape out the window.

Of course... DIRT.

Sharing a snack.

Thankfully the girls were there to help when
both boys were running in different directions.

Connor's 1st trip to the Sea Center

We took Connor to the Sea Center to check out some local marine life.
He had a blast. It was so much fun to see him understanding
things and being so interested in the animals.

Connor loved to stand in the tunnel with the
glass walls and ceiling looking at the surge pool.

He liked it so much we squished Daddy in there too.

The Sea Center is located on the pier over the water.
There is a hole where they drop a bottle attached to a
string into the ocean to collect plankton.
They let Connor pull us the rope. That was a big thrill!

Checking out the touch tank & a sea star.

1st time petting a swell shark.

Wine Tasting with the Girls

Sunday: wine tasting with the girls. My friend Sarah's husband rented a car and driver to take us wine tasting for Sarah's birthday. The daddies took the kiddies for the day, Ahhhhh :-) We had such a relaxing time. We hit 4 wineries: Rideaux, Sunstone. Ok so I can't remember the names of the other two I guess that tells you what a great time we had. Thanks so much Sarah & Mike!

We have a jumper . . .

Thank You

Tantrum

Connor had his 1st full on screaming & kicking tantrum in a store. Yesterday morning we went to target and I was getting Connor a new train. He wanted to open it in the store. I told him we have to pay 1st. So he proceeded to say "Pay Pay Pay" one million times, maybe more. This escalates to screaming bloody murder & kicking his legs in the cart. Mind you I could not open this train if I wanted to, you know the triple layer, bank vault grade plastic that they put toys in these days. You need a chain saw to get it open. There was really nothing I could do at the time & we drove all the way to venture & I was not about to walk out of that store. But Target is full of mom's. I can not tell you how many mothers came over to me to say things like "That was my daughter about 5 minutes ago in the car or that was my son yesterday in the grocery store". It just goes to show you we all get it. So next time your little angel decides to serenade the entire store with screaming just know most people really don't care, at least not a store full of moms.

More potty news, I know y'all care...

Connor pee'd in the potty today 3 times. He said "pee pee" and went to his potty. He still needs mommy or daddy to take off his pants and diaper but then he's on his own. It's very exciting that he wants to do it and he seems proud of himself when he does.

New Developments

Connor has pee'd in the potty 5 days in a row!
And today he went all the way down our stairs by himself for the 1st time.
He's done a few steps before but never the whole way.
Our stairs are pretty steep and can look daunting for such little legs.
He is growing by leaps and bounds!!!

Potty Time

Connor went pee pee in the potty like a big boy.
He stood and did it all on his own.

I know it's gross but here it is for the world to see.
We are so proud :-)
Yay Connor!!!
