This year Connor did sailing camp through the Santa Barbara Youth Sailing Foundation and he loved it! He sailed optimist dinghies everyday for 4 weeks. Connor won all the races and from what his instructor says he won by a mile. It's been such a positive experience for him. Being able to control a boat on your own by just the power of the wind and yourself is a freedom many of us will never know. Each day before pick up Jess and I would walk out to the breakwater and watch Connor sail in. To say I was a proud Mama is an understatement.
I am taking this blog over from my mom. Here I will share my thoughts, ideas, adventures, creations, and photos.
