I started the summer off right by taking my friend Heather out paddle boarding. We saw 4 big seals and 2 babies . . . so much fun.
And finally Recess Marathon Club got to run their final mile and get their medals and certificates.
My little runner. So proud of you Connor. Keep it up!
Connor getting his award from principal Sparre.
Congrats to all the runners.
Auntie Annemarie came to SB for a weekend with her girlfriends but came a day early to hang out with our family.
We took her to Brophy's for dinner with the kids.
It was a beautiful night on the harbor.
It was great to see Connor and Jess bond with Auntie Annemarie.
My cuties bugs. I love you two more than you could ever know . . . well at least until you have babies of your own ;)
Jessy shopped until she dropped.
A total sleeping beauty.
Friday I got to see all the mommies. We haven't been all together in ages. It was so great to catch up with everyone.
Bright and early Sunday morning we hit State St. for the State Street Mile Race. Connor and the big kids ran in their age group while Jess was supposed to run in the family fun run but she just cried and whined her way down State.
Connor and Sam flying down the street.
Looking like track stars!
Then I came home and went on a solo bike ride out to UCSB and back.
We had a playdate with Chase and Danielle at Rock'n kids.
Jess has been out of school for a week and she is really missing it. She asked everyday when can she go back to school. I think she will stop asking when Connor is out of school and they are having fun together at the beach and the pool.
A good start to summer and I plan to keep the fun going.
