This time we made it! We hiked inspiration point 1st thing in the morning, well 1st thing after breakfast burritos from the Daily Grind (Yum!!!). Connor made it to the top with no problem. We were so proud of our little hiker!

Connor the Mountain Climber
This past weekend we did lots of walking! Right now if I'm not moving or eating I feel nauseous, so we kept on the move all weekend. Connor loved it! We walked from our house down town to the Mission and back, we walked down town to the mall, we hiked around Rocky Nook Park, we walk/hiked up inspiration point (much to Chris's dismay we didn't make it to the top BUT only because I made us turn around because it was starting to get dark.) I know Connor could have done the whole hike because when we got home he was still full of energy. Connor had been asking for a long time if we'd take him to the moutains. And I think the beautiful snowy caps this weekend inspired us.
It was a very beautiful hike. It's really green this time of year and due to the Jesusita fire a lot of the trees are black. The stark contrast between the black trees and the green plants was really quite pretty.
Then the following day we took Connor to Rocky Nook Park and hiked around and played in the creek. When he is outside near water he is the happiest kid!

A funny thing Connor said in the car
On the way home from a healthy sushi dinner Connor said "Mom, my body is telling me something".
"Oh what is your body telling you?" I ask
"My whole body is telling me that I need candy. I need candy everyday, for several weeks ago".
HA HA HA
Clearly he has no idea what "several weeks ago" means but he was very emphatic.

The Big Big News . . .
We are thrilled to announce we are expecting baby no. 2! So here is the 1st picture of the little kidney bean. You can already tell from this picture what a photogenic baby this is right?
And Connor well, Connor is very excited about being a big brother! He is the last of his little friends to join the ranks of 'big brother or big sister'. He has been telling people for months that "my parents are working on it." Now he can officially say he is going to be a big brother! He's been very affectionate. He wants to kiss my belly every 5 minutes and has been so lovey since we found out.
Connor even came with us to the ultrasound appointment and was so excited that the doctor gave him the 1st ultrasound picture that printed out.
The official due date is September 19th one day before my birthday but because this will be a scheduled c-section our delivery date will be Sept 12. Yipppppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
We are beyond happy.
