Bon Voyage

Our dear dear friends Marina, Ronda and Holley hosted a beautiful Bon Voyage (heading to the Netherlands) party for Chris and I this past weekend. They thought of every detail and everything was incredible!

We love these people and cherish every wonderful memory we've made with them.

As you will see from these photos, those 3 girls are a powerhouse of entertaining.

This photo was before the tears were flowing like a river.

Marina's & Phil's yard was an idyllic location...nd the table was magazine cover perfect.

I will be lost with out you girls.

Beautiful people and beautiful food . . .

This cake was a yellow Disaronno cake and it was the best cake I've ever had.
Marina please post the recipe on yummymummykitchen.com so we can all enjoy it.

Phil & Chris delivered wonderful toasts that brought most of us to tears.

There was lots of 'ulgy face' crying . . . I really am going to miss you girls and your families every day.

I love you Chris! Thank you for taking our family on an adventure of a lifetime. Lets live this life to the fullest!

Cheers my friends! Please come visit! We love you all to the moon and back.

Grandma and Grandpa visit us in SB

We took Grandma and Grandpa to Haskell's beach. We had a blast watching the kids while relaxing in the sun. It was perfect weather too!
Jessy looked absolutely scrumptious in Grandma's beach hat.

And look at those chunky thighs are!!!!

 Jessy was modeling for us.

Connor played in the water with Grandpa for hours. I'm so glad we got one last really good beach day in SB.

 Just splashing away.

Jessy was just happy to be there too.

Connor, Dad and Grandpa all wet and happy.

Grandma and Grandpa arrived on Thursday in time to pick up Connor from school. He was so excited to see them and give them the pictures he colored for them.

It was also a special day because it was the last day Connor and Sam would be at Good Shepard together.

They gave each other big hugs to say goodbye but I really don't think they understand how much life is about to change.

 Grandma playing with baby Jess.

It was an absolutely perfect evening for dinner on the beach.
Toes in the sand and mai tai in hand.

Jessy enjoying the orange off mommy's mai tai.

Connor and Grandma played in the sand while we relaxed. It was so nice to have the Grandparents with us. Connor was a happy boy all weekend!

 Family photo session :)

And of course one night we had to have dinner at Los Gallos our favorite Mexican food restaurant.

And it's not a sad goodbye because we'll see them again in a few days.

We love you Grandma and Grandpa.

What have we been up to?

We have been as busy as bees lately; getting ready for the big move, spending as much time with friends as possible and just keeping up with these kids.

Our garage is a staging area of packed boxes. Some ready for two years in a dark storage unit and some destine for a long trip over seas. Man is moving a pain in the butt!

Speaking of butts, here is a cute one. This little naked butt just loves standing up.

We sold the Acura last week. Now we have to figure out what to do with the Lexus. We are trying export it to Holland but it looks like that might not happen. But never say never. This whole process has been full of "no", "well yes" & "well maybe not"s.

For our last 4th of July we bbq'd with the Willbanks at the ranch beach. Unfortunately the sun didn't come out until we were leaving :( But we still had a great time.

Connor got to enjoy a little dip in the hot tub and baby Jess got a good snuggle in from big Jess.

We had a fun last museum date with Luke, Solie and Elena. The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History has added a terrific new dino exhibit. If you have boys it's a must see!

We had a very special last pool date with Bella and Leila. Baby Jess loved the pool!

This is the face Jess makes every time the Fallon's dog lollipop comes near her.

Here is a picture of Lollipop. So Scary.

Thatchie showing me how to gargle with yogurt.

Bathing Beauty. I will miss that bath tub.

Baby Jess and I had a special brunch date with Leila and Marina.

And finally here is Connor and Sam attempting to pick lemons off the Fallon's tree.

Like I said busy as bees over here.

Baby Teeth

Jessy has 4 teeth. Two on the bottom and 2 on the top. It's funny that the top two teeth that came in are not the center teeth. You can't see them often but when you can she looks like a baby vampire.
Well this baby vampire loves her toothbrush so we're off to a good start.
