Did some good running around on the playground outside museum before getting back in the car for the long ride home. Which was hilarious Connor and Sam laughed, sang and screamed most of the way home (the fun kind of screaming not the bad kind). There is nothing better than the sound of laughter. It is so much fun to have two kids that are just two little buddies.
Connor was so happy to have Sam spend the night. I was surprised how fast they fell asleep because they were totally crazy for story time.

OK, i think i would be scared of the dino "encounter" too! but i completely adore what good buddies these two are. and i must say your breakfast nook looks awesome!!!! hope you're enjoying your new kitchen! xoh

ReplyDeleteWe just launched our beta test in Santa Barbara and SLO counties a few weeks ago and, now that it's live, I'm trying to get as much input as possible on whether or not parents feel it's a worthwhile service.
While I've got lots of friends in my cheering section, I'd really like to get some perspectives from parents that DON'T know me, so that I get more of the tough feedback that I need to truly make this business a success (not to mention a useful tool/resource for both enrichment teachers and parents). If you DON'T like it or think it would be useful, just send a message through the suggestion box with a quick note about what you don't like about it and/or what we could do to make it more beneficial for parents... And if you DO dig it, what your favorite parts of the site are and/or what you’d like to see more of.
If you like what you see as a guest, I'd be incredibly appreciative if you'd also be willing to take some of the member parent features & functions for a test drive (penciling classes on your calendar prior to enrolling, creating a small social network of friends so that you can see what classes other friends are considering for their kids in the search results, syncing the calendar to your normal online or PDA calendar, enrollment, start date & end date reminders, etc.). Our general policy is not to email member parents unless they’ve got friend requests, carpool requests or acceptances/denials, or enrollment confirmations...in other words, items that need immediate attention. I don't want Kidzmet to be a contributor to any more inbox clutter than we've all already got.
Thanks in advance for any input and advice you are willing provide...and for taking the time to not only read this note, but to (hopefully) take my web "baby" for a spin.
If you know of any other local parents (or enrichment teachers) that might also be willing to take a look and give me feedback and feel like passing this message along, I would be GREATLY appreciative.
